After leaving this project abandoned for many moons, I decided to ask the people at sf.net to remove it. All the code here (which is incomplete and buggy in parts), has been supperseded by the packages I've written for PEAR (pear.php.net).
I cannot stress enough that the code in numPHP should not be used, and that you should use the code from the PEAR packages that supersede it. They are available as installable packages (using the 'pear' command that comes with current releases of PHP), or by getting the pear cvs tree (see http://cvs.php.net/cvs.php/pear). Instructions on how to checkout the code from PHP's CVS server can be found at: http://www.php.net/anoncvs.php.
